Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is presently widely used in industry. This is a method of thermal separation of material. Material separation may be effected in three ways: by means of sublimation, melting, burning. Separation of material is most frequently done using a combination of the three methods. One characteristic of laser cutting is point energy delivery and high-energy cutting stream. Laser cutting aims to manufacture elements which may be used for further processing without any additional treatment. 

Good quality cutting and maintaining dimensions of structural elements being cut depend on precision of the cutting stream and application of a cutting device of the highest quality, which is highly resistant to vibration and characterized by good repeatability. Lasers are currently widely applied both for cutting metal and non-metal materials. They are used in the process of cutting non-alloy and high-alloy steels, aluminium, plastics, wood and ceramics.
